Labor Relations Specialist

Our client, an innovator in interactive and themed entertainment, is looking to add a Labor Relations Specialist to their team! 

In this role, you will be an integral part of the human resources team, helping to create a positive work experience from the top down. Your work will have you interfacing directly with other Labor Relations teams as well as unions, drafting, analyzing, and presenting proposals, reports and regulations, coordinating various meetings and trainings, as well as managing documents and contracts.

You should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Huan Resources, Labor Relations or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience with human resources administration as well as in a Director-level executive admin support role

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive suites as well as Box

  • A high level of verbal and written communication skill, effectively working with all levels of company employees

  • The ability to think on your feet and handle a diverse set of responsibilities in a team-oriented environment often working confidential material

Senior Show Estimator

Our client, a themed entertainment company, is looking for a Senior Show Estimator for their team! 

In this role, you will help to build the financial budgets and ongoing estimates for various interactive media projects in numerous markets.

Your work will consist of providing timely cost analysis throughout the production phases of projects. As a result, you will be working with in-house production teams as well as outside vendors to estimate the scope of work and assess build proposals for various elements including but not limited to set design, lighting, and AV and show control systems. You should have:

  • 10+ years of themed entertainment experience working on estimating projects

  • exceptional communication skills, with prior experience working with production and development companies in the themed entertainment industry in North America

  • experience with parsing architectural and show set designs in addition to their actual execution in order to build accurate estimates that take into account various build solutions

  • an independent and strong organizational mindset capable of managing multiple ongoing projects

  • Autocad/Revit experience and skill set a plus

Executive Director, Estimating

Our client, a themed entertainment organization focusing on interactive multimedia and art experiences, is looking for an Executive Director of Estimating! In this role, you will help to develop and manage the financial direction of the organization’s numerous projects. Your work will consist of estimating, projecting and maintaining budgets for various construction projects, including retail, bar/cafe, and exhibition spaces, working with Project Managers, outside vendors and upper level management throughout a project’s life cycle. You will also build and maintain a database of projects to help further the developmental budgets of future projects.This is a great opportunity to help build the next phase of an exciting and innovative organization!

You should have:

  • a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field

  • 15+ years of construction experience in retail, hotel, theme parks and themed attractions projects

  • extreme proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other budget management software

  • exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and guide project leads both internally and externally, but also produce and present data to upper-level management

  • a strong analytical mind capable of managing multiple ongoing projects

  • General Contractor License, ASCE and/or CMAA Certification preferred
